Mini Apothecary Glass Bottle Reed Diffuser- 60ml
1. Unscrew the lid from the bottle, taking care not to spill the diffuser mix.
2. Place the reeds inside the bottle. The fibre reeds are porous, allowing for the absorption of the liquid to move up the reeds and diffuse the scent.
3. Flipping the reeds isn't necessary, but you can flip them occasionally for a nice boost of scent. If you are flipping the reeds regularly, this is a sign that they may be clogged and no longer diffusing correctly. This often happens with cheaper diffusers, but can also be caused by dust in the air. We offer spare bundles of reeds to refresh your diffuser if there is still liquid left and the reeds are no longer performing at their best.
4. Due to the nature of the reeds and how they become saturated, it is best to always place your diffuser on a protective plate to ensure no liquid damages surfaces.Take special care that the reeds do not touch painted surfaces or other materials such as wallpaper, curtains, polished or synthetic surfaces or fabrics, as this may cause staining.
The temperature of a room is very important as higher temperatures speed up diffusion. While the strength of the scent will increase, the life of the diffuser will be shortened. Avoid placing diffusers next to radiators.
Larger rooms may require more than one diffuser depending on your preferred strength and room size.
